Welcome To The Morgantown Glass Museum!

This non-profit glass museum is owned and operated by a private collector, Kurt Ly. This museum is built specifically for exhibiting the collections of glass from the Morgantown Glass Company, the Seneca Glass company and the Gentile Glass Company here in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The museum is located at the intersection of Route 705 and the Mileground and is easily accessible. The museum itself is not big but the collection of glass consists of over 5,000 pieces including Morgantown Glass Company, Seneca Glass, and the Gentile Glass Company.

The Gentile Glass Company makes a lot of glass from late 1893 to 1980. A lot of the glass is very rare and it cannot be seen anywhere else, especially the Gentile paper weights which include over 700 pieces. It belonged to the Gentile family's special collection.
